Redfish Lake

The last few years, my parents have treated our family and my sister's family to a mini-vacation up at the beautiful Redfish Lake. Earlier this month we enjoyed 3 wonderful nights away at this incredible Idaho resort and had a great time.

Although having 6 adults and 6 small children packed together in a cabin isn't necessarily what you might call relaxing, it was however, very fun. This vacation reminded me of the incredible importance of taking the time to get away, even if it is just for a few days. Spending time with the ones you love most away from cell phone reception and email reminders is delightful and life giving.

Thank-you mom and dad for this opportunity to create such wonderful memories!! It was so much fun!!

Oh, to be a child again. Carefree timelessness.

Getting ready to go fishing!

Just down the street from Redfish Lake is a fish hatchery. We took the kids there one day to look at the fish and they had a little fishing pond nearby. Each of the boys caught several fish with Papou and it was one of the highlights of the trip!! They've been telling everyone about their fishing story since we've returned.

Joshua's first big catch of the day.

Who is that handsome guy with those two cute kids? I wonder if he's taken?

Yia-Yia with her boys, Noah, Carter and Caleb!

I wonder what Papou was whispering into Matthew's ear while I was taking this picture. Apparently it's quite funny.

Little GiGi!

My sweet Caleb!

I couldn't resist posting this picture of Noah and Carter.

The beautiful Francesca of Ampersand Studios!!
